Free WordPress Theme for Your Portfolio
July 28, 2015 • Updates
My web site functions as a place for people to see my portfolio, glance at my resume, and read other professional information. The content centered approach to the design has received a lot of praise throughout the years, and lets the content speak for itself without the clutter typically found in other web designs.
During my free time, I’ve decided to program and develop an open-source WordPress theme based on my portfolio web site design. My hope and reason for creating and sharing the theme is to help others achieve the same success I’ve had.
The theme is free and open-source, so that people can freely use and contribute towards it’s enhancement. The code is hosted on and available through the popular open-source web host GitHub.
The theme is in it’s infancy, so it requires a little knowledge of web development to setup. It’s being released as version 0.1, and the road map for 0.2 and 0.3 are available on the GitHub page. With each release, the knowledge of web development needed to setup the theme will be reduced.
Do you have a suggestion for improving the design or function of this web site? I’d love to hear it. Visit my About page, scroll to the bottom, and choose one of the many ways to contact me and let me know your thoughts.
