Aidan Amavi Branding

description

The goal for this abstract mark was to create a two-tone, modern, and geometrically inspired symbol that embodied the principles of the brand.

The dual triangles resting in one another represent the the first letters of the brand name, Aidan Amavi, as well as the dual letter A’s in both the first and last name. The inlay triangles pay respect to the fractal nature of this reality. Of course, the fractal nature is contained within the primordial nature of duality, which inspired the hexagram form.

The hexagram was inspired partly from observation in nature and partly from ancient mythology you can find in nearly every lore. The shape is generally understood to consist of two triangles—one pointed up and the other down—locked in harmonious embrace. The balanced union of the two triangles represents harmony between duality.

The duality nature, for example, can be seen in the opposites of male and female, dark and light, or even the sides of the brain and it’s modes of thinking. Left-brain subjects focus on function, analysis, and accuracy. Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on form, feeling, and creativity.

The power of the hexagram symbol can be seen throughout nature. Countless species and civilizations have and continue to benefit from it’s natural metaphysical and material power.

The merging of all these elements creates a unique, memorable, and meaningful mark sure to last the test of time.
